Hello class!! 

How is everyone doing today? I hope that everyone has been able to receive this message. Below are some assignments to work on today. You can get a book with blank paper/ scribbler to write out your answers.

Assignments:

1. Read/listen to a book. ( Whatever book that you have at your house or pick an online story from www.storylineonline.net). Draw a picture and write about your favourite part of the story and why you liked that part.

My favourite part was when _____________.

I like this part because _________________.

2. Spelling= Practice reading and writing each word from your word list, six times.

😃=behind, become, before, snow, game

✅=love, wish, dish, down, town

⭐=always, last, between, every, above

3.Word Game- Anagrams

         Word=  DINOSAURS

Use the letters from the word to make smaller words. Write them down. How many words did you come up with?

4. Math= Both Grade One and Grade Two can work on addition and subtraction facts to 20. Look at the picture and write your answers on paper. If you need to, use Lego pieces, dry pasta, cheerios...something to help you count with.

That is all for the first day back!!! Take time to go outside with your family. Fingers crossed that the weather will get warmer!!! High five you all of you!!! We can do this Room 23!!
